This company has completed acquisitions of over $600 million of single tenant triple net lease properties for its own account.
He has amassed a broad range of expertise in finance and operations in his over forty years of business experience. This expertise was developed from his years as a partner in a national accounting firm and, as head of operations or finance for a diverse set of companies ranging from real estate and savings and loan industries to manufacturing concerns and to the entertainment industry. Further, he has been instrumental in the successful start-up of a number of entities in which he created the framework for growth and assisted in the design of complimentary systems, the raising of capital and the inter-action with a panoply of professional advisors.
Robert Whitmire, Managing Director
Mr. Whitmire is a founding member of New Biomass Holding as well as a Managing Partner with Mr. Smaler of a real estate firm that specializes in the purchasing, leasing and financing of land and buildings and land as a standalone asset. This company has completed acquisitions of over $600 million of single tenant triple net lease properties for its own account. Mr. Whitmire is responsible for designing and implementing structures to optimize the economic, tax and accounting benefits to all participants in the Company’s developments.
He is also the author of “Planning Tax Deferred Property Transactions” and co-author (with Bill McKee and Will Nelson) of “Federal Taxation of Partnerships and Partners” and “Structuring and Drafting Partnership Agreements,” all published by Warren Gorham & Lamont.
Mr. Whitmire has a broad range of expertise in taxation and finance garnered from his years of experience as the managing partner in the preeminent Los Angeles law firm Kindel & Anderson as well as from his founding and participation in the National Institute of Tax Professionals, a company that provides continuing education seminars for attorneys and accountants in current tax topics.
